About the Artist
I am a passionate artist based in Milton, Ontario. In the field of art, I would describe myself as a surrealist. My interest and love of art has been a lifelong affair that began with my own early sketchings, followed by private oil lessons at the Russian Cultural Center in Beirut, Lebanon. I was born and raised in Beirut and have involved myself in numerous workshops and art classes over many years. During this time I have practiced and utilized different mediums including Graphite, Charcoal, Pastel,Acrylic, and Oil paints. This range has permitted me to create individual commissions for ten years, and I have also participated in solo and group exhibitions in the Middle East and Canada, as well as numerous art auctions. During my early years as an artist, I was fascinated and influenced by the work of many artists. A few of these were: Salvador Dali, Van Gogh, Rembrandt, Peter Paul Rubens, and Lawren Harris. My love and appreciation for art led me to practice and experiment many different styles from various art movements, ranging from classical to contemporary. This interest has contributed to the process of developing my own style, which I try to enhance by incorporating some measure of meaning behind all of my art. This not only gives me purpose, but also ensures that I never lose interest in my artistic work. I am currently available for commissions. Please email me at haddad.com@gmail.com to share your commission request and learn more about my art process.
