About the Artist
I have been an artist since grade school but never thought I would one day make it my career. I was born in Ireland, raised in Saudi Arabia, went to school in Minnesota, and moved to Canada over 24 years ago. I am of South Asian ethnic background, and with all these experiences, you will find a variety in my art. I love the use of mixed media work on canvas while using oils and acrylics, but a few years ago I started to create trays, coasters, clocks, and cheeseboards using epoxy resin, while incorporating genuine crystals in them. The output was so fabulous that I decided to create a series every year which I offer during the FASM Studio Art Tour! I have exhibited in over 15 gallery exhibitions, awarded Honorable mention during a juried show, and sold internationally. My goals are to do a solo exhibition one day and would love to get support from my community! I live in Milton with my husband and 3 grown kids, plus a 4-year-old rabbit.
