About the Artist

I have been painting and creating art for many years. While working professionally as a Chartered Accountant, I painted and attended art courses and workshops during my holidays. It was a great opportunity to access my creativity and to use the other side of my brain. At one of these workshops entitled Barns and Historical Buildings of Wellington County, in Elora, ON, I met my husband, Bill, for the first time. Since then, we have enjoyed travelling extensively and taking our art supplies with us. I particularly enjoy plein air painting. I have dabbled in Polymer Clay, making jewelry and wine charms. My husband, Bill, and I have published (through Amazon) a number of small books with photographs of doors from the different countries we have seen on our travels, including England, Ireland, Scotland, Orkney, Croatia, Slovenia, Montengro, Macedonia and Greece, and parts of Canada. We also produced a larger book of Canadian Barns.
