About the Artist
I was born in India and grew up in England. During my 33+ years of teaching I have encouraged spontaneity and creativity in children and seniors in England and Canada. A published author, I love to write for children and have visited many area schools to inspire and share my illustrations, poetry, and stories. Although I mostly enjoy acrylics and mixed media, I love to experiment with ideas and an endless variety of possibilities. I especially enjoy painting portraits of people and pets. My Art is flowing and full of life. Over the past few years I have written articles about interesting Miltonians and special events (especially involving Art) for the Milton Villager Magazine. I retired from teaching over 20 years ago. Joining the Fine Arts Society of Milton has been a truly amazing adventure, finding creative friends and the inspiration to explore the world of Art.
