About the Artist
Bill Brehm is a painter using primarily watercolour, oil, and acrylic mediums to create impressionistic landscapes and abstracts. His works are usually colourful and bright and range in size from a few inches to a few feet in area. He prefers to paint plein air but also does studio work using photographs to create custom art requested by clients. Bill is a graduate of Lawrence University of Wisconsin with a BA degree in art and architecture. He and his wife Marnie often paint while travelling to remote places and across Canada. They are also the co-authors of a series of travel-photography books entitled “Doors of the World”.
