About the Artist

Barbara is a working artist/teacher living in the Bronte area of Oakville. As a contemporary impressionist, she paints the landscape, forests, florals, and the still-life. A gentle Palette, expressive brushstrokes, and considered compositions draw the viewer in. One of her great joys is sharing her time and knowledge with students and fellow artists. Originally from the eastern coast of Canada, her work is influenced by coastal edges, her heritage, and the Canadian Boreal Forests. Her work can be found in homes and galleries in Canada, the UK, and the US.
